D/F Machine Specialties
Welding guns and robotic torches · North Mankato, MN
Spec redesign: we built this on our own to show what's possible. It was not commissioned by D/F Machine Specialties.
Our redesign
Their old siteWelding guns that just run.
The current site is a crowded catalog page with small product tiles, many menus and no story. Visitors can't tell why D/F is different.
Their history is the answer: founded in 1966 in a family basement by an Airco engineer who saw welding guns quit after 15 minutes. We built the site around that promise and kept the product catalog one click away.
The brand film tells the founding story; product pages stay simple for buyers who already know what they need.
